Tweetminer is now "Pluggio"
Tweetminer recently underwent an identity change. Now known as Pluggio and developed by programmer Justin Vincent. I'd been using this social media console since late 2009 but probably under-utilised its features and benefits but it was the ease of use I enjoyed. Many of the other consoles I'd experienced in the past seemed very clunky and cumbersome.
The main feature I liked was a central point to have all my tweets from favourite social media and business Twitter connections and the ease of incorporation of the Twitter Lists/Groups. These could be viewed in one stream from that source which cuts down on the visual noise. This in itself could also be deemed a disadvantage not using a multi-column layout and leaving a lot of unused space on my screen.
The features I would like to explore further (and have on my to-do list!) include the scheduling of RSS Feeds and the rolling schedule. Though, part of me resists scheduling tweets, due to my Twitter attitude of 'keeping it real'. Watch this video and see what you make of Pluggio and whether it's worth joining the current 3,700 users.
