60 Ways This VA Can Assist You

Sometime ago I created this document ’60 Ways This VA Can Assist You’. It came about from the numerous inquires I would get with business owners crying for help, knowing they needed administrative support but couldn’t get their head around how to engage a Virtual Assistant. The ‘virtual’ thing stumped them!

To make this a little easier for them, the list outlines how I can support them and their business in a number of ways. Technology is also available to allow this, such as email, Skype, Dropbox, Google Docs and even the social media platforms are useful for quick communication channels.

You can check out ‘60 Ways This VA Can Assist You’ below.

Get your Business Exposed with Google Places

A topic I covered in our recent May 2010 Newsletter received some interest and a number of subscribers contacted me to learn more. One of the first things we investigate when we get a new client, is how their business website performs in a Google search. One very simple task any business owner can do, is to add their business to the 'Google Business Center' (now known as Google Places) together with other free business directories that are available. If you are a business owner who's short on time, we have a special package designed to assist you. We can submit your business to 15-20 free business directories including the Google Places. Contact us to find out more!

Social Media Marketing VA Specialist

During early April I commenced the 'Social Media Marketing VA Specialist 2010' course via the VA Classroom in Canada. The VA Classroom is a highly regarded training body within the Virtual Assistant industry. After watching the 4 weeks worth of lessons (some 20+ videos), taking notes and submitting an assignment for assessment, I passed! My certification badge can be seen below and is now proudly displayed on my website.

So what does this mean for Interim Business Solutions? Well, it shows I know my stuff! I've been active in the social media arena for sometime now and as most of you know, I offer social media services, packages and e-books to assist the small business owner and this just validates my knowledge. I was very impressed with the course the VA Classroom delivered and now contemplating further courses they have on offer.

e-Books Launched - Social Media Guides

What started during 2009 as a 6 page document I offered to clients after I’d set them up on various social media platforms, grew quickly into what was launched yesterday, as a 32 page ‘Social Media Set Up Guide for Small Business’ and a 24 page ‘Social Media Support Guide’ for Small Business. By developing this document into a presentable, informative e-book, it has opened the doors for further product and service development. The following were also launched together with the e-books, The Premium Social Media Package and an Affiliate Program has been set up for these services and products. I’m thrilled to see the support of a number of industry contacts who have already signed up as affiliates!

I am also extremely grateful for the Testimonials provided by Iggy Pintado, Terri Cook, Angela Esnouf and Kim Wood and thank them for their time. A special mention also needs to go to Jonathan Brillantes from www.webbies.com.au who designed the banners, e-book covers and made it all happen! They look sensational and I’ve received many comments.

It really has been an exciting time plunging into the world of e-commerce and a huge learning curve.

Keep an eye out for more products and services COMING SOON!
